Split payment capture
Pre-authorized funds can be captured in one of the following ways:
- By sending a request to the Tranzzo API (API integration)
The secondary operations of Capture within the two-step payment have the type "Capture” and are displayed with this value in the merchant portal. If only a part of the pre-authorized amount is undergoing the Capture, the other part is unblocked and becomes available to the customer.

If the order involved an increase in the amount through Incremental Authorization (Incremental Auth), the following specifics should be taken into account:
- The Capture amount cannot exceed the amount of the original Auth plus all successful Incremental Auths.
- For a split payment, if it is necessary to capture an amount greater than the amount currently held, an Incremental Auth must be created first, followed by a Capture.
