Payment links (two-step payment)
The payment link is a built-in merchant portal solution that allows you to manually generate a link to the Tranzzo payment page (hosted integration) that can further be provided to the customer in the form of a URL or QR code.
This type of integration provides the following interaction for two-step payment:
- You generate a payment link in the merchant portal with all required parameters.
- You provide the payment link to the customer or display/print it as a QR code and place it at points of sale.
- The customer follows the payment link and is redirected to our payment page, where they enter their payment data, confirm the payment and receive its final status.
- You monitor the payment status in the merchant portal and, after receiving a successful status, initiate a secondary transaction.
With a two-step payment, the payment link is created in the same way as for one-step payments with the "Payment with pre-authorization" switcher is set to "on". The procedures for testing and going live are also similar.
